Maria C. Garrity, M.S.Ed.

Maria Garrity earned her Master of Science degree in 1993. Prior to her employment at Buffalo State in 2000, she worked for the City of Buffalo and Erie County's IT departments. As a Senior Systems Programmer, Maria specializes in IT server security to protect the privacy of employee and student data and supervises the installation of vital applications that align with our campus goals.  Additionally, she stepped up during the pandemic and had the expertise to quickly manage several COVID-19 health and safety projects. Maria is an adjunct faculty member in the Computer Information Systems department and the SEFA Campaign Coordinator.
