Transition of Student Email to Outlook Starts May 22

We are excited to announce that all current students will be receiving a brand-new email account in Outlook soon. Students will be able to access these new accounts starting Monday, May 22nd, 2023. This is part of the university’s plan to phase out Google accounts by summer 2024. While students will still be able to access their Google account for one full year after receiving their Outlook accounts, the new Outlook address will become their primary account and should be used for official campus communication. We have a team of friendly and knowledgeable staff and student employees available to answer questions about Buffalo State's IT services, assist with password issues, and help troubleshoot an array of problems related to using technology on campus.
