John C. Newman Jr., B.A.

Johnny Newman is Senior Support Specialist at the IT Help Desk at Buffalo State. He studied English for undergrad and Library Information Science for graduate work at The University of Buffalo and has been with the Buffalo State Family since 1999. Working under Jason Welborn, he assists his colleagues and student employees in troubleshooting and assisting the campus with their technical needs and particularly enjoys the occasional strange challenges.  Johnny is very active with Freemasonry and is most proud of his lodge erecting a monument to The Battle Within at the Buffalo Naval Park bringing awareness to Veteran Suicide.
