Brendan F. Rooney, B.S.

A SUNY Buffalo State University Alumnus, Brendan began work for the university as a Programmer/Analyst for Administrative Computing within Computing Services, working in support primarily for the Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Admissions Offices.  He was promoted to Director of the Administrative Computing team in 2006 and currently heads up the Enterprise Systems unit within Information Technology, directing the work of developers and database administrators who work in support of the business and academic enterprise information systems across campus, including support of Banner, the official student information system of record.

Outside of work, Brendan’s interests includes dogs of any breed, (cats, not so much), being a life-long, semi-casual, recovering Buffalo Bills fan, an avid fan of Tim Horton’s coffee, among other local beverages, food and confections, most food that tastes sweet, (except maybe coconut), occasional travel, plays both acoustic and electric guitar at an (arguably) intermediate level, enjoys cooking and woodworking, puttering around the house, and spending time with his family.
