Buffalo State is a member of the SUNY Center for Professional Development, which provides the campus “points” that can be used for SUNY training opportunities.

What are Points?

"Points" or "Training Points" are dollars a campus receives through membership in the CPD or ITEC organizations. "Points" can be used by member campus faculty and staff to pay for training and professional development, programs, conferences, and more as determined by the organization.

How can I use Points?

Each member campus has a person designated as the Points Contact. How and when points can be used is determined by the organization and campus. Meghan Pereira is the Points Contact for Buffalo State.

If you select CPD points as your method of payment it is the responsibility of the registrant to determine if enough points are available to use BEFORE completing the registration process.  Please contact Meghan Pereira to determine points eligibility.  If points are denied, you will be responsible for payment.

For the 2019 – 2020 academic year CPD points have been designated for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Teaching and Learning Certificate Program.
